Nuits-Saint-Georges, Au Bas De Combe, Domaine Jacques Cacheux, 2021Always on the lookout for growers under the radar, especially those with interesting parcels in Vosne Romane, and we were very impressed with Jacques Cacheux 2021 vintage. Patrice Cacheux, Jacques son, has run the domaine since 1994 helped by his son Charles. As an aside Charles sister Marianne is one half of the dynamic duo Pierre and Marianne Duroch and we cant help thinking some of their successful maison wines might have fruit sourced from Cacheux
