Vintage Seiko 5 5126-8060 automatic watch with silver sunburst dial – A classic 1970 Seiko 5 featuring the iconic silver sunburst dial and robust 23-jewel caliber 5126 movement. Professionally serviced in December 2025 with time graph results, this vintage automatic showcases Seiko's legendary reliability and craftsmanship from the golden era.

Dial: Great condition, original light silver sunburst, never repainted

Hands: Stick hands with lume

Material: Stainless steel

Crystal: Great condition acrylic crystal, generally scratch free

Strap: Stainless steel bracelet, fits a 7" wrist, comes with 2 extra links, can be adjusted to fit up to a 7.75" wrist when the links are added

Extra Strap: Brown crocodile imprinted leather with stainless steel buckle, will fit up to a 7.5" wrist

Lug Width: 18mm

Case Size: 38mm including crown x 41mm lug to lug x 11mm including crystal

Case Thickness: 11mm

Movement: Original and correct. Automatic self-winding Caliber 5126 with 23 jewels, 19,800 beat rate, serviced and tested and is running excellently and within spec

After testing the watch was 8 seconds fast over a 24-hour period. It is normal for watches to run slightly fast after servicing and they will eventually slow down over the following months and years.

Service: This watch was professionally serviced in December 2025 by my expert watchmaker and has photo evidence of this. Also in the pictures you can see the results from the time graph machine.

To Set the Date: Pull the crown out 1 click and roll clockwise. Best to adjust at noon, not midnight as it could damage the date function. Do not roll the crown fast, always roll slowly and gently.

To Set the Time: Pull the crown out 2 clicks and roll the crown slowly to the time desired, softly push the crown back in and it will run.
