Fabrics & materials

The Bamboo Shield front boots are made with Kentucky's well-known and highly breathable 3D Spacer lining, which is also used in the 3D spacer turnout boots and horse rug. The Bamboo Shield boots have a robust outer shell made of lightweight yet strong TPU and an additional bamboo shield insert in the tendon area for optimal protection against any impact and penetration of sharp objects. Bamboo is also anti-bacterial.

Shape and size

Thanks to the anatomically shaped design, the boots fit nicely around the horses' legs to provide maximum comfort and protection. It also gives the horse the maximum freedom of movement in order to jump better.

The soft and flexible rubber insert below the joint offers the horse improved comfort in movement.

Care instructions
The boots are machine washable at 30°C (no tumble dryer). We always advice to use a washing bag to avoid scratches caused by the tumble. You can easily use the Kentucky Boots Cleaner, specially developed for TPU boots, to give the boots the finishing touch to make them look like new.
