It is a speciality of Varanasi, formerly known as Banaras, from which the fabric derives its name. Saris from Varanasi perfectly combine the finest Indian and Persian textile designs. The sari has varied sizes of chrysanthemum butta through the sari.It is complemented with a lovely self gold zari border has intricate badam ( almond ) shaped vine border.
