Mumure de la Foret from Tokyo Kodo is like a perfect pop song. Equal parts pleasure and surprise, spicy and sweet, hits the right notes and gets out just in time. For us the aroma of raspberry up top does most of the hard work, with hits of clove and vetiver keeping it from getting too cloyingly sweet. Down in the bass clef, the scent of sandalwood holds the groove. We love this to reset and energize the room.
