A very attractive sliver gelatin press photo of Sister Aimee Semple McPherson preaching, angelic shadow intentionally cast in frame by the photographer. A very nice example.
Taken in 1933 during a revival crusade in New York City at the Capitol Theatre on Broadway, the sermon was more than the snippet McPherson reported to the press. It was a rather full [if brief] production, complete with sets, stage directions, etc.
Interesting account of it in the New York Times [1933] here: https://www.nytimes.com/1933/09/19/archives/aimee-mpherson-invades-broadway-here-to-get-in-a-little-word-for.html
Measures c.6 x 8. Image bright and well-preserved with focus slightly blurred on original photo. Some light rippling to image.
