Very crisp copy of a rare work on the history of revivals. It has a heavy emphasis on God's providence in providing the right people and circumstances for a revival. Covers the revivals of the Reformation era, the Great Awakening, and the various revivals of the 19th century. Interesting read.

In perhaps late 19th century library buckram, though attractive; spine darkened and minor ex library on rear pastedown. Nothing significant or obnoxious.
