This 200 amp Elite series alternator is specially designed for customers who have swapped a 5.0 Ford Coyote engine into another vehicle and no longer have the computer interface harness for the alternator. This alternator only requires simple positive and ground cables to be run to the battery in order for it to function. This makes it a perfect solution for customers running stand alone EFI harnesses. This unit will also work with standard Ford harnesses, but will no longer allow the engine computer to control the charging voltage of the alternator. (check battery light will stay on with OEM wiring harnesses)
