At its centre lies a heart shaped natural pearl its organic contours and luminous lustre glowing softly against the gold. In the Georgian era, pearls were treasured for their purity and symbolism, often representing enduring affection. The natural shaping of this pearl makes it all the more extraordinary. Encircling the pearl is a halo of rose cut diamonds, each hand cut and set to shimmer gently in candlelight. The illumination for which they were originally intended. Their subtle sparkle frames the heart beautifully, enhancing rather than overpowering its soft radiance. Above, a delicately formed bow motif, also set with rose cut diamonds, crowns the heart. Bows in Georgian jewellery symbolised unity and binding love; a fitting emblem for a ring so rich in romantic intent.
