Rather good copy of Tregelles' fascinating work on the history and persecution of the Jansenists. Originating in Port Royale, France, this evangelical, proto-pentecostal movement errupted from within the Catholic church and included faith in the finished grace of Christ and outpourings of prophecy and ecstatic experiences through the Holy Spirit. Fascinating.
