Description: Quercetin is one of the most active flavonoids and is responsible for much of the medicinal activity in most plants. It also serves as a backbone for many other flavonoids and preserves other antioxidants such as vitamin C. It is well absorbed and water-soluble. Quercetin has been used to treat a number of conditions, which include: Inflammation – Quercetin directly inhibits a number of inflammatory processes including the manufacture and release of histamines.
