The Laramie has a swept back cheek and a tear drop loop at the rein, which provides a very forgiving and slower pull. The shank’s features give a pre-signal for the horse when they feel the rein slide. This keeps the rider from having to engage as directly. The dog bone mouthpiece applies more pressure to the outside of the bars providing more flex and bend than a traditional two-piece snaffle. This dog bone also has a roller in the middle, which is a great soothing tool for an anxious horse.
