If you're looking for a quality and attractive "working" edition of Spurgeon's classic Treasury, this is a great choice. The 19th century editions are great, but also a bit high maintenance in terms of the binding. And more recent editions are essentially cased in paperbacks, which will definitely not be durable. This edition was actually printed on acid free paper and smyth-sewn, making the text much more stable and durable over the years. It has also retained a reasonable print size by keeping the seven volume format, rather than trying to shove all seven into two or three.
