A very nice Sage 505 fly reel with an extra spool. This reel was made exclusively for Sage by Hardy. 3 3/8" diameter and set up for RHW but is easily swappable with a reversible pawl internally and nickel silver lineguard externally. Catalog weight of 4.65 ounces. Both the reel and extra spool have line loaded on them but I could find no sign whatsoever that they have been fished. The reel and spool are in pristine mint condition. Strong smooth drag with a loud outgoing click. Designed to hold lines from size #4 up to #7. The reel comes in the original sage zipper pouch and the spare spool comes in a non original leather zipper pouch. A great example of this collectible modern classic.
