Small Group Experience | Maximum 8 Guests
Join us in Oaxaca during Día de Muertos for four thoughtfully curated days of artisan traditions, seasonal meals, and meaningful cultural experiences. Highlights include a private Muerteada arranged in advance during one of Oaxaca's busiest weeks of the year. If you've always dreamed of experiencing Oaxaca during Día de Muertos, this experience is for you.
Planning a trip during Día de Muertos can be overwhelming. Many of the dining experiences, reservations, and cultural activities included in this itinerary are difficult to secure independently during one of Oaxaca's busiest weeks of the year. We've thoughtfully coordinated them in advance so you can spend less time planning and more time experiencing the traditions, meals, and atmosphere that make this season so special.
Please Note: Accommodations are not included. This experience is designed for travelers who have already secured lodging in Oaxaca.
Airport Transfers: One airport arrival transfer and one airport departure transfer are included for guests participating in the full itinerary. We recommend arriving by October 29 and departing no earlier than November 3. If your travel dates fall slightly outside these recommendations, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your schedule.
This experience is designed for travelers who want to experience Oaxaca during Día de Muertos without the stress of coordinating reservations, transportation, and seasonal experiences on their own. Instead, you'll have the opportunity to slow down, connect more deeply with local traditions, and experience the season in a meaningful and respectful way.

Through storytelling, relationships, and community-centered travel, Luisa creates experiences that connect travelers to the heart of Mexico. By the end of this trip, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of Oaxaca, Day of the Dead traditions, and likely a desire to return again.
*Please Note: Luisa will not be attending this trip, but she will be planning every detail and you will have access to her via a private Whatsapp group. Your trip will be guided by a bilingual host who Luisa has personally worked with over the last 5 years.
