Blended Grain 1972 is a rare 52-year-old Scotch grain whisky from Decadent Drams, distilled in 1972 and matured in a refill barrel for over five decades. Bottled at 50.8% ABV (700ml), it’s a bold, tropical-leaning old grain with an “industrial” edge.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Engine oil/old leather, coconut macaroons, mango syrup, eucalyptus

• Palate: Pineapple, herbal sweets, worn leather, pink wafers, rose Turkish delight

• Finish: Mint, sea salt, toasted coconut, aged vanilla

Best for: aged grain hunters, collectors, milestone tastings.
Serve: neat in a tulip glass; optional splash of water.
