A superb work regarding the founding of the Wyandot [Wyandotte] mission under the minister of Methodist pioneer, James B. Finley. The Upper Sandusky Mission was founded in Ohio [1821], and led to ongoing conflicts between Finley and the United States Government. He advocated for education for the Wyndot before the forced removal of the Wyandot to Kansas in 1843 and was deeply and publicly critical of the Governments treaty-breaking and abuse of the Wyandot people.
