A rare Bogdan model 300 salmon reel, set up for desirable LHW.  This was one of Stan's two largest catalogued models with a 3 3/4" diameter and 1 5/8" spool width, perfect for matching with a larger two-handed rod. This reel is in excellent used condition with some minor rash to the rims, mounting marks on the foot, and light some scratches around the screws on the cranking side. Overall I would characterize this wear as relatively light, however, without any major gouges, etc. Silver anodized frame, spool, handle, foot, oil port cover, poacher's knob, and Bogdan nameplate. The sideplates and drag adjuster are the usual black anodized. The reel boasts the usual double brake Bogdan drag and has a 2:1 multiplier retrieve. The foot has "300" stamped into the side. The reel comes in an original suede brown leather bag. These larger Bogdans are exceedingly hard to find, especially in LHW, and are probably the models that we get the most requests about. Don't pass this one up!
