Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Will it work with other cameras?

The ActionHat will work with any GoPro camera or other action camera that uses a same style attachment. Other action cameras or point and shoot cameras will need the Universal Adapter for GoPro to connect via a 1/40 screw.

2. Will my ActionHat still float if I use my own hat?

Since hat weights, materials and styles vary, we cannot guarantee that the hat will float. We recommend float testing your DIY ActionHat by installing the FlexFrame and your camera and placing in a bucket of fresh water. Since salt water is more buoyant than fresh water, if your hat will float in fresh water, it will definitely float in salt water. If additional flotation is needed, we recommend adding a key float for extra security.
