EASY DO-IT-YOURSELF INSTALLATION IN 4 BASIC STEPS

1) Ensure proper fit

Prior to installing the Megaware SkegGuard visually make sure the model fits well with the skeg on your motor.

2) Skeg Preparation

Any spurs or jagged edges should be filed smooth so the SkegGuard can slide easily over the existing skeg.

3) Install SkegGuard

Using a rubber mallet, slide the SkegGuard onto the existing skeg and gently tap on it to get it started. Then drive it on with the mallet until it's fully seated.

4) Install Stainless Steel Hardware

Using the pre-drilled mounting holes on the SkegGuard as pilot holes, drill the skeg using a 1/4" drill bit.

Install the stainless steel hardware using the hex key supplied.
