Purple LacePurple Lace rhododendron boasts large trusses of very frilly purple flowers with pale centers. Its trusses are bountiful and have an attractive ball shape. Blooming can occur April June, depending on growing conditions. Our bloom photos were taken at the end of April. Purple Lace grows to around 5' tall x 5' wide at maturity. Place in full sun to partial shade. It is hardy to 5F when protected from windchill.
