For sale here is a scarce Hardy Perfect wide drum fly reel - 4" diameter with Duplicated MKII check and spare un-engageable pawl. Excellent+ condition. Early to mid-1920s. Most of the original leading (and lacquer) remains on the reel surface. Full length original smooth brass foot. Ivory handle spins freely. Very tight reel mechanically. No cosmetic issues to speak of. The reel weighs 15.15 oz. (with backing) and the reel foot measures 3.1" in length. The reel is 100% original with the exception of the replacement spool screw which is nicely machined nickel silver.
