The intaglio depicts Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty, shown nude and gracefully leaning against a small pillar where her draped garments rest in soft folds. A pose often found in ancient Greek art that reflects both vulnerability and divine allure. To her right stands a tiny figure of Eros, reaching up toward her.

Set into a smooth, weighty silver mount, the ring has a strong, clean profile that beautifully frames the carved scene. A wearable ring with huge influence from thousands of years ago.
