The KONFORT 770S implements complete technological solutions to adhere to the specific German vehicle manufacturer requirements about safety and reliability under European legislation for the new refrigerant.
The KONFORT 770S recharge station has been included in the prestigious ADI Design Index for 2012 as an example of excellent Italian design. The index is published annually by ADI, the Italian Association for Industrial Design.
The internal unit has been designed to ensure the service procedures for the unit are simpler than oil changes or filters. The refrigerant tank is mounted on robust electronic scales with a locking system that prevents changes in calibration during transport or when moving around the workshop.
The KONFORT 770S is equipped with an automatic leak control system linked to EN837 Class 1 certified gauge with impeccable precision. The refrigerant scales guarantee that errors will not exceed +/- 15gr.
As far as safety is concerned, a micro-switch system automatically locks electrical components when the service station is opened for inspection.
An emergency stop button has been added to the control panel, which turns the machine off, stopping all processes. The entire upper console can be turned to be viewed without moving the whole service station (not available in the German market).
The components used, such as the innovative recovery group, have exceptional features and guarantee refrigerant recovery of over 95%.
TEXA’s refrigerant identification system uses NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) technology. It has been developed based on a decade of experience in producing exhaust gas analysis systems that are recognised as the best the market can offer in terms of accuracy and build quality.
TEXA is the only European company and the second worldwide to develop and produce a refrigerant identification kit, especially for air conditioning recharge stations.
Special care has been taken to ensure that the surrounding environment cannot influence test results, e.g., by the airborne hydrocarbon vapours and exhaust gases so often present in the garage environment.
Development of the system took over a year. Particular attention was paid to the algorithms identifying refrigerant types R134a and R1234yf. The TEXA system recognizes these two refrigerants and ensures their purity.
