For sale here is an extremely clean Dingley 2 7/8" fly reel. Rare size. Made in the 1930's. Stamped D12 on the frame and 12 on the foot and cog. This near mint condition reel is RHW and retains nearly all of its original leading. Gear teeth and pawl still very sharp. Un-filed original smooth brass reel foot with two screws measures 2.5". Great condition ebonite handle and it spins freely with some slight even resistance. The reel has no wobble. No cracks or prior repairs. Reel weighs 5.25 oz.
