Rhododendron campylogynum is a unique species with showy thimble-shaped campanulate flowers. The lovely pink-red blooms typically show in April-May, depending on growing conditions. This plant has a compact growth habit that makes it an excellent choice for rock gardens, slopes, and accents. 

Plant is full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. R. campylogynum grows to around 1' tall x 1' wide at maturity. It is cold hardy to -5°F when protected from windchill.
