This incredible, multi-layered skirt sashayed down the runway as part of Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 1993 collection - one of the most revered collections of the decade. Made in Italy, it is tailored from weighty layers of bold floral and paisley patterned crepe and detailed with wide panels of frilled black lace and velvet ribbon. This high-waist skirt is built for movement, coming alive as the wearer walks - or dances - it is adorned with fringe at the waistband and along the edge of the layers. The waistband is crowned by three red fabric roses crafted from red velvet and red grosgrain ribbon. It is lined with black crepe and closes with a hidden zip and black plastic button at the left hip.

This piece is in excellent archival vintage condition with no flaws of any note. The label reads 100% Viscose and is labelled an Italian 42, UK 10 or US 6, but vintage sizes vary so please check our measurements closely below. This piece has no stretch to it. Our model is a UK 6 US 0-2 and 5'11". This skirt worked well on her when worn low waisted.
