Such a stunning set by Canada's top costume jewelry designer in the 50's and 60's - Gustave Sherman!

Made entirely of high quality Swarovski crystals in a japanned or gunmetal setting, this set is refined vintage elegance at it's best!

The colors of this set are so stunning! It consists of a mix of vibrant fuchsia pink, medium purple, and faux alexandrite stones (change from purple to blue depending on the light.) The stones are set in a metal that has been covered with a black lacquer, known as japanning. This allows the sparkle of the stones to really show! The necklace might be more correctly defined as being set in a gunmetal finish but it's hard to say. They are both set in a dark color metal.

The necklace is absolutely gorgeous! It sits 1950s style, right at the base of the neck and and has little stones that mimic drops in front. The chain has alternating dark and light round crystals which end with an extender chain and a hook clasp.

The earrings are true Sherman statement earrings with a fan-shaped drop in colors that match the necklace.
