• The twin of the dress was shown for the Pre-fall 2010 Valentino collection.
• It was made under the creative design of both Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli. 
• This is one of their earlier collections after stepping into Mr Valentino's shoes and I love that they stayed true to the label's heritage by using a classic Valentino red for this dress.
• The dress is made from a red silk that has a slight sheen to it and is in the signature shade of red that Valentino is so well known for. The fabric choice keeps the dress light in weight while still holding that beautiful shape that you see.
• A vertically gathered panel curves up and over one shoulder and then the bodice is gathered horizontally across you. It is cut on a slight angle across the edge at the top and the side without the shoulder curves in at the waist and over the top of the hip. The other side is gathered on an angle into the side. This all creates the illusion of a smaller waist.
• The skirt wraps over itself and this creates a draping panel down one side. It is open underneath so if you move a certain way, you do see a flash of bare leg.
• The skirt gradually widens out as it nears the hem and the open panel on the one side allows the fabric of the skirt to have movement when you walk.
• It is fully lined in a red silk through the bodice and has light boning. The skirt is lined in a red silk chiffon. The dress closes with a hidden set side zipper.
• There is no size tag present so please go by the measurements listed below.
