This tailored bustier top was designed by Stefano Pilati when he headed up the fashion house Yves Saint Laurent as the creative director. A dress version walked the runway in a grey colourway as part of the brand’s Spring 2008 collection. Cut to a cropped length, it is tailored to hit the waist at its smallest point. The bust area offers an angular take on a sweetheart neckline. It is boned the whole way around and lined with black satin. It fastens at the back with a hidden brass zip - the zip pull hangs down the back and is embossed with the iconic “YSL” intertwined logo.

This highly wearable top is in excellent vintage condition and looks barely worn with no issues. Made in France, it has no size label so please check the measurements closely. The fabric is 100% Wool and has no stretch. The feels like a French 38, UK 10 or US 6.
