By associated NGO Sidai Maasai Women Organization and Sidai design studio in Tanzania in collaboration with Berlin-based  contemporary fair trade design and fashion brand Folkdays.

The characteristic mini hoops by Sidai Designs in bright colours. Glass beads in pink and orange are strung together to create a colourful accent. The earrings are handmade by Maasai artisans in Tanzania. Glass bead jewellery has a high value in the Maasai culture and so do the techniques used to create it by hand. The manifold glass bead jewellery by Sidai Designs therefore picks up the traditional bead embroidery techniques of the Maasai in its production.
