An outstanding 1940s designer bracelet by Hobe!

This is a stunning hand-worked bracelet made in sterling silver with big pink and blue crystals. The detail on the flowers and leaves is absolutely phenomenal! Each link of the bracelet is accented with big oversized blue and pink crystals. This item has a nice patina, which adds to the overall detail of the design and the vintage aesthetic. It could be shined up carefully if desired but it is being sold here as it is shown to preserve the rich historical detail.

Hobe et Cie was founded in 1887 by Jacques Hobe, a goldsmith, in Paris. Jacques' son William brought an offshoot of the company to New York in the early part of the 1900s and made a name there with luminaries such as Flo Ziegfield and various Holywood stars such as Bette Davis and Ava Gardner. Early Hobe jewelry is a historical treasure and this piece is a fine example of that!

Closes with a big secure box clasp with a safety chain.
