This patchwork cape is a celebration of vintage inspiration and personal heritage. I combined various wool-like fabrics in soft, complementary shades to create a silhouette reminiscent of the 1950s. A delicate Chinese collar and buttons from my grandmother’s old button box give it a subtle, intimate touch. The cape rests beautifully on the shoulders, draping down with soft ruffles that move gracefully. This was my first time creating a piece with such a vintage vision, and the result is exactly as I had imagined.
