This gorgeous cotton floral vintage tea dress boasts such a classic 50s print with its large blue and mauve flowers and has such sweet detailing to the neckline. A pretty perfect dress to create a 1950s inspired look.

Handmade but to a good standard

As it is handmade it is very hard to date. I think that is was made later than the 1950s but is certainly very much inspired by that time.


Approx modern day UK size 14-16 but as vintage garments don’t generally conform to modern day sizes this is a guide only. Please see measurements below:

Bust: 20 in/ 51 cm
Waist : 17 in/43 cm
Length nape to hem: 42 in/107 cm
Pit to pit: 21 in /53.5 cm
Pit to cuff: 4 1/4 in/11 cm

Good vintage condition. There is a mark on the bodice (I think from the iron) but this is hard to sport as it blends in the print. Please see the photos.
Also please bear in mind that as this has been homemade there may be the odd visible stitch.
