Upon opening, we find 10 numbered bags, a mysterious long box, the manual, an unnumbered bag, a loose link piece, and a paper envelope. That mysterious long box? It holds the brand new blade pieces for the wings—8 of them! These blades, at almost 32 cm (12.5 inches), are massive and beautifully molded in a special matte silver finish.

In this design, ZENE lighting uses very low-key lighting to avoid making such a sci-fi aircraft flashy, and also has more military concealment. The warm light in the cockpit makes the pilot appear faintly, which is very cool. The white LED in the front simulates the weapon system of the laser array, and the flame like lights on the wings and engine at the back make everything so realistic

Building Experience:
The build kicks off with a studded Technic core, incorporating new slopes from last year in a fresh color. This forms the lever for the wing-flapping mechanism. The instructions are detailed, matching the white cover of the manual. There's a brief intro to the Dune universe, showcasing the ornithopter's details and functionality.
