Beautiful late 1960’s to early 1970’s deep burnt orange wrap leotard by classic American dance wear maker Capezio. This leotard has the most darling design, very form fitting with long sleeves and a cool wrap design you can tie in front or back. On my model there’s a little cut out between the built in panty and wrap bodice which is actually so cute. This would be darling worn as a body suit but I would love if it went to a dancer 🧡 I’ve danced all my life and vintage dance wear with this cool design and quality is rare.

Brand tag says “Capezio dancing since 1887” it also has care information and tells us it was made in the USA, is 100% nylon and my favorite bonus is this leotard has a name! On the side of the tag it says “Helana” which is just so cool.

It fit my model beautifully and she’s 5 foot 8.5” and a modern size 4/6 with about 34/25.5/37. But this item could accommodate a bit smaller, or maybe even a touch bigger as it has a nice stretch - however, a larger person would need to be OK with less coverage in back. I think best fit is a modern 2-6. The measurements are as follows:

Bust - 30-35”
Waist - 21-26”
Hips - 29-33” (as you can see it is cheeky on the model)
