This unusual dress was designed by iconic London department store Liberty during the early 1970s. Tailored from the brand’s signature Tana Lawn soft cotton, it is printed with a repetitive print of tiny Isosceles triangles in rainbow hues. It has an asymmetric neckline and fastens down the front with five playful triangular buttons made from cream plastic. The waist belt is made from coordinating fabric and is finished with a diamond-shaped cream plastic buckle. The whole style of the dress borrows from the late art deco aesthetic which was very in vogue at the time. The sleeves are short and have turned-up cuffs. There are two patch pockets on the front of the skirt and the skirt has a slight slit at the front. The body of the dress is lined in a blush pink satin. In excellent condition with no flaws of any note. There is no size label so please check our measurements below as the cloth has no stretch. We estimate a good fit for sizes UK 10-12 or US 6.
