The "Belle" blouse is a luxurious piece made from natural silk habotai and meticulously hand-embroidered using a traditional smocking technique. Its design is a faithful reproduction of a historic blouse originally created by Liberty&Co, now preserved in a private collection. Available in a palette of five elegant colors - cream ivory (as shown in the photos), beige, green, baby pink or salmon pink - this blouse is crafted with an attention to detail that ensures timeless sophistication.

The blouse features a back fastening with metal snap buttons along the back and a standing collar adorned with silk-covered buttons to match the rest of the garment. The design allows for a loose fit at the bust and includes an optional adjustable waist to accommodate a range of sizes. The sleeves, styled in the "Marie" fashion, are richly smocked and hand-embroidered from wrist to elbow and around the upper arm. 

PICKING A SIZE: There are 4 sizes available. To pick one for yourself you should go by the modern size you wear normally.

MEASUREMENTS: For reference purposes I'm going to need following measurements to start working on your blouse, please include them in the text box before placing an order. 

1) Neck circumference 2) Bust 3) Waist* 4) Armscye 5) Length of Back - 7th vertebrae to waist 6) Length from shoulder to waist line across bust 7) Upper Arm circumference 8) Arm below Elbow 9) Wrist circumference.

*-If you plan to wear the blouse both with and without a corset, please include your uncorseted and corseted waist sizes.

Adjustable At The Waist: if you wish your blouse is adjustable, please select this option (free of charge)!

Please note that the color of the thread for embroidery will be ivory for all fabric options except ivory silk habotai: for that fabric option it is pink champagne, as shown in the photos.

LEAD TIME: The blouse requires 6-8 weeks for production. It is always ideal to discuss a deliver-by deadline, otherwise the order will be processed in the order it was received. Clear deadlines allow for effective work planning.

TAXES AND DUTIES

EU customers: VAT is included into the price. 

For customers outside the EU: any customs duties and taxes imposed by destination country are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be covered by The Boudoir Key under any circumstances. I strongly advise verifying duty-free import allowance, customs thresholds and applicable tax rates for your country prior to making a purchase. The Boudoir Key does not automatically charge customs duties nor transfer them to the tax authorities of the buyer's country.
