Detective Comics #296 - Published October 1961
Batman and Robin fight a criminal called the Planet-Master, whose crime-costumes are modeled around the motif of the nine planets of the solar system. Using these special designed costumes for crimes, the Planet Master manages to outmatch the Dynamic Duo on every occasion until they find a clue that points towards a scientist called Professor Norbet. Once in Norbet's place, the Dynamic Duo learn that the man is a mild mannered professional and that he believes the Planet-Master must have snuck in and stolen the inventions needed for the crimes. After the Dynamic Duo leave, Norbet examines another secret closet, known only to his assistant Edward Burke and finds it filled with all of the Planet Master's costumes and loot. The heroes come to the conclusion that Norbet's assistant, Burke, might be the criminal.
4.0 Grade - An average, second-hand, obviously read copy with marks and minor defects but still respectable and appealing. Printing lustre almost gone but not soiled or heavily stained and no tape evident, apart from a small piece of magic tape to repair a tear. There is noticeable wear on the spine and even the start of a spine roll and one staple may be slightly loose. The pages may be yellowing with the first signs of slight browning at the edges. The cover could have a tear or crease or the centrefold could have come away from the staples inside. NO PAGES OR PARTS MISSING. It must be complete in every way. For British comics, all the above applies though there will be slightly more edge and corner wear.
