The Ghillie Moc w/ 2021 in Black by Yuketen combines traditional moccasin construction with a ghillie lacing system rooted in Celtic footwear design.

Handcrafted in the USA, each pair is made using genuine moccasin construction, where multiple pieces of leather are hand-cut, hand-lasted, and hand-stitched on Yuketen’s proprietary last developed in the 1950s. This construction allows the shoe to follow the natural shape of the foot and develop a more molded fit over time.

The upper is crafted from Horween full-grain Chromexcel leather, known for its softness, durability, and the way it reveals lighter tones when flexed. The design is finished with cowhide leather laces and a ghillie lacing system that wraps the foot more organically than traditional eyelet constructions.

Underfoot, the shoe features a layered construction including a leather insole, leather tuck, memory foam, and arch support for comfort. This is combined with a grade leather midsole, rubber midsole, and Vibram’s USA-made 2021 sole, forming a durable bottom unit made up of multiple layers of leather, rubber, and cushioning materials.
