Black velvet coat, ca. 1915, provenance: America, Valentine Museum. Label is no longer decipherable. Collar and cuffs are made of blue moiré silk and decorated with rabbit fur. Appliquéd cord decoration on the back. Wide belt that fastens with press studs; decorated with ball studs (one button missing). In the lower third, the velvet is replaced by a black silk ottoman pendant skirt. A blue ribbon also marks the transition. The inside is lined with blue silk (only in the area of the velvet; the silk section is not lined). In good condition. The lining is somewhat damaged. Minor repairs; the fur trim is worn, the collar shows signs of wear, a few tiny holes, some of the straps are loose. The decoration is not included.
