The colors in this gown are amazing, and when combined with the gold metallic threads that run top to bottom and create wide striped bands, it is just beautiful. The exterior layer is a silk organza has a secondary print running over it and under the gold bands. I love the richness of the deep red tones mixed with the gold threading. If you look close you also realize that each of those bands of gold has its own pattern within it. All this layered over the interior red silk lining so it really creates a rich and exotic feel. The sleeves are wonderful, each wrist is caught up with an slim cuff so that the sleeve puffs out above to create a subtle billowing. The neck is simple and high and keyhole slit sits just under the collar for a tiny flash of skin. The skirt is full and flares out in a gentle swoop of fabric as it falls to the floor. The original belt cinches in and adds shape to the waistline. It is a beautiful and dramatic piece. Excellent condition.

Fully lined in a deep red silk with the sleeves left unlined. It closes with a back painted metal zipper. Each sleeve closes with hidden snaps at the cuff. Has its original fabric belt that closes with hook & eye so can easily be adjusted for the perfect fit.
