This pretty pale ice blue silk organza cocktail dress from Suzy Perette is sublime. It's a true 50s masterpiece and a lovely, lovely dress! The soft silk overlay that covers the dress gives it a pretty translucent quality and a bit of depth. Really beautiful. The bodice is simple with a flat across neckline. The waist nips in and the skirt is full and has a lot if volume - here I have styled it over a light crinoline (not included) so that you can see just how full the skirt is. Incredibly the volume and shape is all created by long vertical panels pieced together to create that hourglass feel - just an incredible amount of work. It is a lovely and early Perette dress. Excellent condition

Fully interlined in a pale silky rayon and closes with a back painted metal zipper. Ribbon finished hem and pinked seams. Note that it is a teeny bit small on my mannequins bust and on a smaller chested girl would have no horizontal pull like it does in the photos and zip fully up of course!
