An exquisite Turkish cross pendant and multi-gem laden necklace.  The Turkish cross is dimpled with turquoise and onyx cabochons.  The necklace is strewn with agate, mahogany, obsidian, imperial jasper and brass beads.  The different colors of the peachy brown and imperial jasper comes from other minerals like hematite, clay and goethite.  The name jasper means spotted or speckled stone and originates from the Latin ‘iaspidem’, or the Old French jaspre.  It’s a grounding and earthy stone, beneficial to those suffering from burnout or overwhelm.  Mahogany obsidian is the darker brown/black stone.  It is believed to help reactivate creative energies and reclaim personal power.  The gorgeous turquoise and onyx cross pendant hails from Istanbul and measures 4” with a turquoise bead dangle of .5”.  The gem and brass beaded necklace measures 22”, giving that total drop of this fabulous piece of 26.5”.  A Becky Coulter original creation.
