Rich Scottish pebble work in deep bloodstone, red jasper, and beautifully banded agate surrounds a trio of glowing faceted quartz stones in this striking Victorian brooch. The center stones have that classic warm whisky-toned “Cairngorm” look so closely associated with traditional Scottish jewelry, while the vivid purple amethyst cabochons at each end add a beautiful contrast of color. Stones have been tested.

The silver setting has substantial hand-worked character with finely cut inlaid hardstones fitted into dramatic scrolling forms — a hallmark of Scottish agate jewelry of the 19th century revival period. 🌟 Condition: Excellent with extremely minimal wear. The pin stem is slightly irregular. The comma stones all have a break in the middle. This is believed to be original, likely done to get that specific curved shape.
