This charming 1970s printed chiffon dress is unlabelled however it is exceptionally pretty with a unique novelty print depicting romantic images of wistful girls and courting lovers amidst floral settings. The colours are soft pastel shades of pale pink, warm ochre and blue and create a languid, summery feel. It is long sleeved with a pointed collar frill both front and reverse, a nipped in waist and flowing ankle length skirt. It features dainty pearlescent button details on each cuff and sash ties in matching chiffon at the reverse of the waistband that can be drawn around the front to accentuate the silhouette, or tied at the back as desired. There is a central zip fastening at the reverse. Of note, the dress is unlined and that given the sheer nature of the fabric, a slip may be required. A lovely piece and perfect for summer parties, would fit a range of sizes up to US size 8, UK size 12. Our model is a UK 8-10 and 5ft 11in. (180cm) and this dress was a good fit on her with room to spare.
