The Nikolay Maya I Pointe Shoes feature a V-shaped medium vamp with drawstring, medium platform, and slightly tapered box. They are recommended for dancers with narrow feet with a high or medium arch.

Aside from the brand name change, this is the exact same shoe as its predecessor the Grishko Maya I.

Maya is built on the Fouette last, which was developed with consideration of the anatomic features of a narrow foot with a high arch. Dancers with Egyptian or Greek shaped feet should consider SuperTriumph, and in the bigger widths (4X-5X) it can be suitable for Roman shaped feet as well.
