The High-Speed Network Communications Module (HS-NCM) offers connectivity for NOTIFIER’s Fire Alarm Control Panels, including the NFS-320, NFS-640, NFS2-640, NFS-3030, and NFS2-3030, as well as the NCA and NCA-2 Network Control Annunciators and the DVC Digital Voice Command, enabling them to link to the High-Speed NOTI•FIRE•NET (NFN).

Each HS-NCM is capable of supporting a maximum of two node addresses. For instance, a single HS-NCM can facilitate network communication for both an NFS2-640 and an NCA-2.

When disconnected from a fire alarm panel, the HS-NCM automatically switches to repeater mode, allowing it to enhance signal range or facilitate data transmission between two network segments with different configurations, particularly in environments where both wired and fiber connections are present.
