Exquisite Flapper Evening Dress, America, ca. 1926

This exquisite evening dress from the flapper era, dating to around 1926, is a vibrant example of American Jazz Age fashion at its most artistic. The entire surface is richly embroidered with colorful glass beads, dominated by shades of pink, blue, and red. The motif is distinctly floral, a popular decorative theme in late‑1920s evening wear and characteristic of high‑quality flapper dresses.

The embroidery lies on a gold‑colored lace, which itself is backed by a shimmering gold lamé fabric.
