This beautifully made pair of earrings are from the Taxco region of Mexico, where artists renowned for their exceptionally fine silversmithing. Puffy, dimensional abstract wings are accented with twisted bits of brass wire. These earrings, though large enough to make a statement, are quite light, and though they clip on the ears, they are very secure, balanced, and comfortable. The craftsmanship is exceptional. They are hallmarked with the artist's Taxco Id number, as well as origin and "925" for Sterling grade silver.
